Noida. Radio Amity 107.8 FM is continuing its public awareness initiatives to promote accurate information about HIV-AIDS. As part of the initiative, Radio Amity Station Head Piyush Vardhan Singh Chandel held a special conversation with District Chief Medical Superintendent (CMS) Dr Ashok Kumar Jha at the District Hospital in Sector 39.

The programme was conducted by District Tuberculosis Officer R.P. Singh. The discussion focused on important aspects of HIV, including prevention, timely testing and treatment. The speakers also discussed the need to address misconceptions and stigma associated with HIV-AIDS.

The conversation also provided information about the i-SCAN campaign being run by the Uttar Pradesh State AIDS Control Society. Under the campaign, efforts are being made to provide people with access to free HIV testing.

People can access testing-related services through a QR code under the initiative. The campaign aims to make HIV testing more accessible and encourage people to seek timely information about their HIV status.

Radio Amity 107.8 FM continues to conduct awareness programmes on HIV-AIDS and other health-related issues. The initiative aims to provide people with accurate, reliable and useful health information while addressing hesitation and misconceptions surrounding HIV testing.
