Greater Noida West : A tragic incident was reported on Thursday at Radha Sky Garden Society in Greater Noida West, where a 21-year-old man died after allegedly jumping from a residential tower following an altercation with his mother. The incident created panic among residents of the society and is being investigated by the Bisrakh Police.
Mother injured during altercation
According to police, the deceased has been identified as Sagar Yadav, son of Anil Yadav. He lived with his parents and younger brother in Tower 1 of Radha Sky Garden Society.
Preliminary information provided by family members suggests that Sagar was facing mental health-related issues. Police said an argument broke out between him and his mother at their residence. During the altercation, he allegedly attacked her with a knife, causing injuries.
Youth jumps from building, Succumbs during treatment
Following the incident, Sagar reportedly went to the upper floors of the building and jumped from the tower. He sustained critical injuries and was rushed to a nearby hospital for treatment. However, doctors later declared him dead.
The injured woman received medical treatment and is reportedly receiving care.
Police launch investigation
Upon receiving information about the incident, police teams reached the spot and initiated an investigation. The body was sent for post-mortem examination after completing the necessary legal formalities.
Police officials stated that further legal action will be taken based on the post-mortem report and findings of the ongoing investigation. The incident has left residents of the society shocked and concerned.
