Jaipur / Noida : A situation of tension arose due to the posters put up outside the historic Jama Masjid in Johri Bazaar, Jaipur late on Friday, April 25, 2025,n night. The matter heated up when a community objected to the posters put up outside the mosque and in the surrounding areas.
Crowd gathered, atmosphere tense due to sloganeering
After the incident, a huge crowd gathered in the Badi Chaupad area and people of a particular community started sloganeering. In view of the situation, police force was deployed on the spot.
MLA accused of putting up posters
According to officials, Hawamahal area MLA Balmukundacharya is accused of pasting posters on Jama Masjid, Ramganj Bazaar, public toilets and footpaths. A dispute flared up over this and the atmosphere became tense.
Control due to quick action by police
Jaipur Commissionerate Police took timely action and prevented the situation from worsening further. Due to the vigilance of the police, peace could be restored in Badi Chaupar and surrounding areas.
