Nothing launches CMF Phone 1 in India, Watch Pro 2 and Buds Pro 2 tag along | Gadgets

British consumer technology company Nothing has introduced the CMF Phone 1, its first smartphone, under its CMF sub-brand in India. The CMF Watch Pro 2 timepiece and CMF Buds Pro 2 wireless earbuds come with the smartphone. There is no mention of the CMF Phone 1’s hardware customisation options, including removable back panel cases available in various hues and textures. Additionally, nothing is available for direct smartphone attachment via the rotatable dial and screws on the phone. It should be mentioned that the brand sells the accessories separately for both the smartphone and the smartwatch.

CMF Phone 1: Offers and Availability

During the July 12 open sale, starting at 12 p.m., the CMF Phone 1 will be offered on the cmf.tech website, the e-commerce site Flipkart, and at a few retail locations. In addition, on July 9 starting at 7 p.m., the CMF Phone 1 and CMF Buds Pro 2 will be offered at a pop-up drop at Bengaluru’s Lulu Mall. Nothing stated that CMF Buds will be given out for free to the first 100 customers who purchase the CMF Phone 1.

Regarding the initial offer, clients who buy a CMF Phone 1 during the first day of the sale can receive a bank cashback of Rs 1,000.

The MediaTek Dimensity 7300 system-on-a-chip (SoC) and up to 8GB of RAM run the smartphone. The CMF Phone 1 has a 5,000mAh battery that can be charged quickly—up to 33W. 5W reverse wired charging is also supported by the smartphone. It’s important to know that the CMF Phone 1 box does not include a charger. When purchased with the smartphone, the supported 33W charger can be purchased separately for Rs 799.

Details of CMF Watch Pro 2:

The 1.32-inch AMOLED display of the CMF Watch Pro 2 can be customised with its interchangeable bezel design. The smartwatch comes with more than 100 watch faces, according to the manufacturer, allowing for even more customisation.

Regarding features, the Watch Pro 2 can recognise five sports automatically and supports over 120 different sports modes. Additionally, it has capability for monitoring blood oxygen saturation (SpO₂), heart rate, and stress level. Music, camera control, and Bluetooth calling are among the other noteworthy features. The watch has an IP68 classification, meaning it is resistant to water and dust intrusion. There was no mention of an 11-day battery life for the smartwatch.

Details of CMF Buds Pro 2:

Two audio drivers are included in the CMF Buds Pro 2: an 11mm bass driver and a 6mm tweeter. Additionally, by using Bluetooth codecs like LDAC (Lossless Digital Audio Codec), the earphones support high-resolution audio wirelessly. Additionally, the CMF Buds Pro 2 include a frequency range of 5000Hz and hybrid Active Noise Cancelling (ANC) with a maximum of 50dB. The earbuds have a six-microphone configuration with Clear Voice Technology 2.0 and Wind-Noise Reduction 2.0 for crystal-clear audio pickup when making calls. It is stated that the CMF Buds Pro 2 have a total battery life of 43 hours and may be used for 7 hours of playback after a 10-minute charge.

The Buds casing has an additional feature that the company refers to as the Smart Dial—a rotatable dial. Nothing indicated that consumers will be able to adjust volume levels and other aspects of sound using this dial.
