Noida: Residents of Sector 105 have received a major civic infrastructure boost with the installation of nearly 400 new street light poles as part of the first phase of a street lighting upgrade undertaken by the Noida Authority. The initiative was carried out following repeated requests from the executive committee of the Sector 105 Residents Welfare Association (RWA).
The replacement of old and damaged street light poles has significantly improved illumination across the sector, enhancing road safety and making night-time movement more convenient for residents.
Welcoming the development, RWA Sector 105 President Divya Krishnatreya, along with the executive committee and residents, expressed gratitude to the Noida Authority’s Street Light Department for completing the work on time.
Krishnatreya conveyed special appreciation to General Manager (E&M) R.P. Singh for his guidance and support in expediting the project. He also thanked Senior Manager Amarjeet Singh, Junior Engineer Romesh Pawar and the technical team for their prompt action and continuous coordination during the implementation of the project.
Assuring residents that the remaining work will also be completed soon, Krishnatreya said the Noida Authority is preparing the necessary contract documents for the next phase. Once the tender process is completed, the replacement of the remaining old and damaged street light poles will begin without delay.
He said the RWA remains committed to making Sector 105 cleaner, safer and better equipped with modern civic infrastructure. He also acknowledged the continued support and cooperation of the RWA executive committee and residents, stating that their collective participation has been instrumental in achieving developmental milestones in the sector.
