Noida: The Noida High-Rise Federation (NHRF) has appealed to the Noida Authority to establish a uniform policy for transfer charges on sales of high-rise apartments. Currently, there is no regulation, and builders are charging arbitrary and outrageous transfer fees.
‘Interference of Noida Authority is a must’
The lack of regulation on transfer charges is a significant concern for homebuyers and residents. We urge the Noida Authority to intervene and establish a standardized policy to control this situation. It is unfair that while all other charges levied by the Authority are regulated and uniform, transfer charges are left to the discretion of individual builders

Formal request will be done
The NHRF will submit a formal request to the Noida Authority, seeking their intervention in regulating transfer charges. Additionally, the federation will raise this issue with the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh in their upcoming meeting.
‘We hope Noida Authority will take necessary steps’
We believe that a uniform policy on transfer charges will bring transparency and fairness to the process, benefiting both home buyers and residents. We hope that the Noida Authority will take our request seriously and take the necessary steps to address this issue.
