International Yoga Day: JP Nadda did yoga with citizens at Yamuna Sports Complex

Noida: On the occasion of International Yoga Day, yoga was practised at various places in Noida.

Union Minister and BJP President JP Nadda was to reach Noida Sector 21 Stadium at 7.30 am to participate in the mass yoga, but his schedule changed at the last moment. Minister of State Brajesh Singh, Dr Mahesh Sharma and Pankaj Singh, and District Magistrate Manish Kumar Verma practised yoga with the citizens in Noida Stadium. Minister of State Brajesh Singh said that yoga has been exponentially promoted in the Modi regime. Extensive security arrangements were made at Noida Stadium. At the same time, heavy police forces have been deployed in the city.

‘The global spread of yoga is a matter of pride’

After practising yoga, JP Nadda wrote on X post that ‘Today, on the occasion of International Yoga Day, I had the privilege of doing yoga with our yoga-loving brothers and sisters at Yamuna Sports Complex, Delhi. Prime Minister Narendra Modi had called for celebrating June 21 as ‘International Yoga Day’ in the United Nations, which has been accepted and adopted by countries around the world. The global spread and reputation of yoga is a matter of pride for India. Yoga ensures a happy and better life by providing balance and health to all three dimensions of our life-body, mind and spirit. On this occasion, I appeal to all the countrymen to include yoga in their daily lives. Hearty congratulations and best wishes to all of you on the 10th International Yoga Day.
