Noida: Lokesh M, CEO, Noida Authority reviewed the work of all departments related to the authority. The major issue Noida is facing is due to the illegal constructions in the notified areas of the Authority. In the meeting, many important aspects were discussed.

- Cleanliness in the city
- Arrangement of adequate electricity on the roads
- Cleaning all the drains of the city before the rains
- Banning single-use plastic
- Repair and painting of footpaths
- Distribution of cold sweet drinking water
- Investigation of illegal business activities going on in group housing schemes
CEO wants to make the general public aware of the encroachment
The CEO instructed the senior managers of all work circles to survey the illegal constructions and publish them in newspapers every month along with the location, nature of construction, etc. to make the general public aware of the illegal constructions in the Noida notified area.
Illegal buildings to be marked as illegal
A mark should be made on the identified illegal constructions that this building is illegal. Along with this, a First Information Report (FIR) should be registered with the names of the encroachers who have done illegal construction in the Noida notified area.
Instructs to clean the drains
CEO directed to complete the cleaning of all the main drains by running a special campaign pre monsoon. He asked for cleaning in two shifts on the roads of all 12 areas of Noida and continuous lifting of garbage. In the meeting, he asked the Civil Department to get all the footpaths and roads of the city repaired, painted etc.
Garden Department to get the work done like cutting, pruning etc
The Garden Department of Noida Authority was instructed to focus on timely grass cutting, placing beautiful pots, pruning of trees etc.
Electricity Department to check the lights
The Electricity Department was asked to ensure the arrangement of adequate lights under the Metro stations falling in various areas of the city.
The Public Health Department will ban polythenes
The Public Health Department was directed to keep blue and green dustbins near various markets, to ban single-use plastic by running a special campaign.
During the review meeting, Special Executive Officer Mahendra Prasad, Additional Chief Executive Officer Satish Pal, Additional Chief Executive Officer Vandana Tripathi, Officers, General Manager (Water, Development, Management) RP Singh, General Manager (Public Health and Noida Traffic Cell) SP Singh, OSD Kranti Shekhar, OSD Arvind Kumar, OSD Indu Prakash, besides Public Health Officer, Assistant General Managers of Residential, Institutional, Industrial, Commerce Department, Senior Managers of all departments, Directors and Deputy Directors were present.
