Noida: Given the increasing incidents of cyber crimes, the Noida Federation of Apartment Owners Association (NOFAA) has issued an important advisory for 100 high-rise societies in the city. In this, a serious warning has been given about cyber fraudsters forcibly entering societies through digital arrest and fake warrants.
Increasing incidents of cyber fraud and advisories issued
NOFAA has passed this advisory for society residents, in which alerts have been given especially against those criminals who are threatening people by showing fake arrest warrants and trying to enter society. 100 high-rise societies are associated with NOFAA, and all of them have been advised to be vigilant through this circular.
Letter to Police Commissioner, demand to issue SOP
NOFAA has also written a letter to the Police Commissioner, urging him to issue a clear and effective SOP (Standard Operating Procedure) for the society. The purpose of this SOP is to ensure security against cyber thugs and prevent incidents. Cyber crimes are increasing continuously in Noida, and such cases are increasing year after year. NOFAA has emphasized the need for immediate action in this context.
Alert in society, advice to avoid cyber fraud
NOFAA’s advisory gives special advice to avoid various forms of cyber fraud such as showing fake arrest warrants, threats and attempts to enter society. Under this, the manager and residents of the society have been appealed to immediately inform the police in such suspicious cases and be alert to any kind of wrong activity.
