NHRF is committed to working with the authorities to create safer living environments for residents in high-rise societies.

We urge the Authority to support Apartment Owners Associations (AOAs) in enforcing safety guidelines, rather than holding them accountable in case of mishaps. The recent incident in Pune, where a flower pot fell from a high-rise building, resulting in a child’s death, is a stark reminder of the need for effective implementation of safety guidelines. We believe that with the administration’s support, AOAs can better ensure resident safety and prevent such accidents.

Nikhil Singhal, President, NHRF
