Mahindra XUV700 Blaze Edition Lunched in India, Price Start at Rs 24.24 Lakh

Mahindra, the top automaker, has introduced the Black Edition trim to the XU700 lineup. In India, the base model costs Rs 24.24 lakh (ex-showroom), while the top model costs Rs 26.04 lakh (ex-showroom). The unit was released at this pricing.

The company started taking official reservations, so interested parties may now reserve the car in advance. Reservations can be made in person at an approved showroom or online at the official website.

What’s New?

The Black Edition is built around the AX7 L trim and has a few small external and interior visual upgrades. From the outside, it adopts the same aggressive stance, complete with an LED headlamp configuration, LED DRLs, and fashionable fog lamps.

The manufacturer added ORVMs, blacked-out 18-inch alloy dark alloy wheels, and the iconic huge black finish grille to the front. Customers can now distinguish between special and normal trims thanks to the addition of “Blaze” badging on the trim’s front door and tailgate, which helps it stand out from the crowd.

Color Options

There is just one Matte Blaze Red exterior and one Napoli Black roof available for the recently released trim. There are three SUV types available from the firm, and all of them exclusively come with front-wheel drive.

Interior and Features

The most recent version has black leatherette seat upholstery and an all-black treatment side on the inside. Additional red inlays that add more caps to its feather are seen around the seats, steering wheel, and AC vents.

Regarding the features, nothing has been added or removed. The vehicle maintains its enormous touchscreen entertainment system, which is compatible with all wireless car connect technologies, including as Apple, Android, and Auto Carplay.

Engine and Power

The SUV is propelled by a dependable 2.0-liter turbo-petrol engine that has a maximum power output of 197 BHP and 380 Nm. A 6-speed automatic is linked to the unit. A 2.2-liter diesel engine is also an option for the Blaze Edition. Six-speed manual or six-speed automatic transmissions are available for the powertrain.
