
Ghaziabad : A shocking incident has sent panic across the Mahagunpuram society in Ghaziabad, where a 40-year-old man allegedly died by suicide after jumping from the 13th floor of Vinayak Tower on Thursday afternoon. According to initial reports, the deceased, identified as Rajveer, jumped from the high-rise building at around 1:30 pm. Residents immediately alerted authorities, following which police reached the spot and began an investigation.
Financial Stress Suspected
Preliminary information suggests that Rajveer was involved in podcast-related work and had been experiencing financial losses in recent months. His wife, Kiran Bala, along with their children, is reportedly living separately in Gaur City.
Association confirms incident
Mahagunpuram AOA General Secretary Dr Surjeet Singh confirmed the incident, stating that the society management is cooperating with authorities in the ongoing investigation.
Police investigation underway
Police have taken both bodies into custody and sent them for postmortem examination. Officials stated that the exact cause of death will be determined based on forensic evidence and reports. As of now, no suicide note or conclusive evidence has been recovered from the scene. The incident occurred in a society located near National Highway 24 and has created a sense of fear among residents. Authorities have assured that all aspects of the case are being thoroughly examined and further details will emerge after the investigation progresses.
