Kia India, one of the fastest-growing mass-premium automakers in the country, has achieved a remarkable feat by delivering 255,038 vehicles in 2024.
This marks a 6 percent increase over the 240,919 units delivered in 2023, setting a new record for the company.
Throughout the year, Kia focused on expanding its presence in Tier-I and Tier-II cities, aiming to reach new customers across India. The company opened 126 new dealerships and 36 Certified Pre-Owned (CPO) outlets, bringing its total to 700 touchpoints in 301 cities.
Hardeep Singh Brar, Senior Vice President and Head of Sales and Marketing at Kia India, commented, “As we move into 2025, we are excited about the upcoming launch of the Syros, which promises to redefine the Indian automotive landscape. With this, we will set new industry benchmarks and reinforce our leadership position in the market.”
The Kia Sonet played a key role in this success, with 102,337 units delivered, strengthening its position as the leader in the highly competitive sub-compact SUV market.
The Seltos and Carens also contributed to Kia’s strong performance, further boosting its market share. In addition, the company set a new milestone by delivering over 563 units of the luxury Carnival Limousine just two months after its launch.
Kia India’s international appeal also grew, with exports reaching 25,404 units in 2024.
