
Greater Noida: The Hariyali Teej Celebration 2026, organised by the RWA of Sector Beta-1, Greater Noida, was held with enthusiasm, festive spirit and traditional fervour.
Around 135 women participated in the celebration, which featured songs, music, dance, games and a range of cultural activities. The event provided residents an opportunity to celebrate Indian traditions while showcasing creativity, talent and women’s participation in community life.
Jyoti Vashishtha Wins Miss Teej 2026
One of the major highlights of the event was the Miss Teej 2026 competition, with Jyoti Vashishtha winning the title.
The ramp walk competition also witnessed enthusiastic participation, with Tanishka Gupta and Shrestha Tiwari emerging as winners and Poonam Yadav securing the second runner-up position.
In the singing competition, Akanksha Jain secured first place.
Women Participate in Multiple Competitions
The group dance competition was won by the team comprising Sonia, Lokesh and Kavita.
Several other competitions were organised during the celebration. The winners included:
- Musical Chairs: Mrs Chanchal
- Chudi Game: Mrs Abha Singh
- Pencil Sharpening: Nidhi Bhati
- Punctuality Award: Mrs Kavita
The Tambola competition also saw several participants being recognised, including Aarti, Shilpi, Kusum, Priyanka, Leena Singh, Anjali, Kumkum, Ishika Chauhan, Poonam Yadav, Kritika, Nidhi, Ambalika, Sarita Chauhan, Sadhna, Anju, Himanshi and Kirti Singhal, among others.
RWA Team Plays Key Role
RWA President Sangeeta Sharma, General Secretary Harendra Bhati, Treasurer Advocate Vipin Bhati, Vice-President Rajbir Singh, Secretary Om Prakash Sharma, Deepak Bhati and other members of the RWA team played an active role in organising the celebration.
Special contributions to the successful conduct of the event came from Sangeeta Sharma, Anita Bhati, Anju Pundir, Sheetal Bhati, Rachna Raghuvanshi, Kavita, Sandhya Gautam and Jyoti Vidha.
Winners Receive Gifts
As part of the celebrations, Malabar Gold presented attractive gifts to the winners of various competitions. All women attending the event were also presented with gifts as a gesture of appreciation.
The celebrations brought together residents through a mix of traditional festivities, entertainment and friendly competitions.

At the conclusion of the programme, RWA President Sangeeta Sharma, General Secretary Harendra Bhati and Treasurer Vipin Bhati expressed their gratitude to all participants, guests and supporters.
They said such community events not only help keep Indian traditions and cultural values alive but also provide women with a platform to showcase their talent and strengthen community participation.
The Hariyali Teej celebration concluded on a positive note, with residents celebrating togetherness, tradition and the spirit of women’s empowerment.
