Lift Scare: Family strangled in the lift in Jaypee Aman Greens Society Sector 151

Noida: The problems are increasing in the societies every day. The cases despite decreasing, are surprisingly increasing creating havoc everywhere. Recently, a lift got stuck in the Jaypee Aman Greens society in sector 151 with three family members in it.

What is in the video
In the viral clip, one can see that there are three people in the lift and all of them get stuck. The young girl and the elderly lady are in distress after this mishap. The girl was nervous and her mother encouraged her daughter to get out of the lift, they all took the help of a chair to get out. The elder lady manages to get out of the stuck lift.

The aftermath of this incident
After this, the residents are not allowing their children to use the lifts. Residents allege that there is no responsibility of the maintenance and security department. We are living in huge risk. Another resident alleges,” We will not allow our children to travel alone in the lift. The condition of the lift is very bad. Even after complaint, no attention is being paid.”

An elderly lady got injured and is very scared
Vipin Tyagi, a resident of JP Aman Society says, “We live in this society’s N tower 10th Floor. The whole family is very disturbed right now. My Mother, Wife and Daughter were going to the 19th floor when the lift stopped with a jerk between the 15th and 16th floors. They also tried to bang the alarm and kept banging the door. After continuous trials, a guard came there to rescue them. He helped them and gave them a chair to come out. It was quite hard for them to come out of the lifts.”

15000 residents life is in danger

Yogesh Singh, AOA President of JP Aman Society, said that about 15 thousand residents live in the society. Every day they have to take the lift. The elevator stops every day in some tower or the other. Due to the closure, people get stuck inside the lift.

FMG does not take concrete steps

FMG does not take any concrete action on this issue, which may someday lead to a serious accident and even death of a stranded person. FMG directly blames residents for non-payment or delayed payment of their maintenance dues.
