Noida: Keeping in mind the current situation in the country, The Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) has taken a big decision. According to the official notification of ICAI, the CA 2025 exam to be held in May has been postponed. The announcement of the postponement of the exam is also available on the official website of ICAI icai.org.
Reason for postponement of exam
ICAI has clarified that this decision has been taken given the current tense security situation between India and Pakistan. Giving priority to security, CA Final, Intermediate and Post Qualification Course examinations have been postponed. These also include the International Taxation Assessment Test (INTT AT). These examinations were to be conducted between 9 May 2025 to 14 May 2025.
Waiting for the new exam date
At present, ICAI has only informed about the postponement of the exam and no new date has been announced yet. The new date of CA Exam 2025 will be announced later in view of India-Pakistan tension. Candidates are requested to rely only on the official website icai.org for any updates related to the exam.

ICAI has clarified that the safety of the candidates is the top priority of the institution and there will be no compromise with it. The decision to postpone the exam has been taken keeping this responsibility in mind.
