Union Home Minister Amit Shah received a cheque for Rs 19.08 crore on Thursday as a dividend from Repco Bank, a government-owned business that operates under the Ministry of Home Affairs’ administrative supervision.
Shah expressed his congratulations to the Repco Bank for pulling off the incredible achievement of recording an impressive 11% growth rate in the fiscal year 2023–2024.
“Today, the Managing Director, Shri O M Gokul, and the Chairman of Repco Bank, Shri E Santhanam, presented a cheque for Rs 19.08 crore to the MHA as a dividend on the Government of India’s share capital. The home minister stated in a post on X that the bank, which is governed by the MHA administratively, “has demonstrated what commitment to serving the nation can achieve.”
