Greater Noida West: Amid the heatwave, the residents of Victory One Amara, Sector-16, Near Angel Crossing, Panchsheel Green, GNW protested on Sunday, May 19, 2024, against the maintenance and the builder as there is a dearth of problems in the society.
Residents raised slogans against the builder
Residents say that the expansion joint of the rooftop park has not been repaired, due to which the parking and basement pond will be formed again in the coming rainy season like every year. There are many dangerous expansion joints which are a threat to the lives of children.
No proper fire safety equipment was installed ever
Fire fighting equipment is either not installed or is just adding to the beauty of the building. Public announcement system, assembly area, smoke detector, fire alarm, all this does not work. There is not even the necessary fire path marking to find the way in case of a fire. Sanjeev Saxena pointed out the lack of firefighting equipment and the possibility of a big disaster in case of an accident.
No dedicated parking space
Daily fight for parking because the builder has not completed his work
No recreational area
The club and gym seem to remain only on paper
No proper security
There are not enough security guards or CCTV
Big problem of stray dogs
Plaster is falling off, the paint has not been done for years
Insufficient DG power back up
The fixed charge is arbitrary, and the booking charge of the hall in the club is arbitrary and very high.
This has been complained to the authorities many times but no solution has been found.
Abhishek Kumar, President, Nefowa took the builder and government officials to task on all the above problems and assured to hold a meeting between the builder and the residents with the Greater Noida Authority soon. Apart from this, he cornered both the authority and the builder and warned them not to start the registry after the report of the Amitabh Kant Committee and adopting a lax attitude.
Dipankar Kumar talked about running a campaign against the builder and the maintenance agency for obstructing the registration process and delaying day-to-day work.
Rohit Mishra has warned that the maintenance should improve and says, “Those who sit like chairmen without providing basic facilities should change their place, they will not be able to survive here.”
