Residents and Nefowa meet for a better tomorrow, Sector 10 and Sector 12 need the authority’s attention 

Greater Noida West: Residents of Sector-10 and 12 of Greater Noida West held a meeting with Nefowa to provide basic facilities. In the meeting, the residents expressed their anger over the problems of the sector and the need for the Greater Noida Authority’s attention to make these sectors a perfect example of modern living. The issues that were discussed ranged from stray cattle to traffic menace to open drains that are affecting their day-to-day lives. The absence of speed breakers, street lights and proper sewerage were also discussed in this meeting. Nefowa has assured residents that these issues were resolved by involving the Greater Noida authority.

‘A park with no proper lights’

In the meeting, sector residents informed Apartment Times that the authority has built a park in the area but there is no arrangement for lighting in it. 

‘No street lights on many internal roads’

Many times residents have complained that lights are needed in the interiors of the sectors, but the authority never worked on this. There are no street lights on many internal roads. 

‘Stray animals for years’

Residents complain that there are a lot of problems with stray and abandoned dogs and other cattle in the sector. They are a major threat to everyone who is on the road. 

‘Lack of speed breakers’

Residents complain that due to the lack of speed breakers at the ATS roundabout, many accidents occur. 

‘No foot over the bridge’

Residents complain that there is difficulty in crossing the road due to the absence of a foot-over bridge on a 130-meter road. The entry/exit on the service road near the ATS roundabout is not convenient for traffic and is not properly managed.

Residents complain that there is no fogging to control mosquitoes in the area

Many problems arise from broken sewer line edges.

Abhishek Kumar, President, Nefowa says, “We kept this meeting exclusively for the residents of various societies to discuss their problems. We will raise their problems with the authority till they are heard and resolved.”

Abhishek Kumar, while talking to the residents says, “I do not have any government post or authority, but have experience of decades of struggle. I am not a public representative, but an aggrieved home buyer like you, who has bought a house with the savings of his life and has set out to make this area a dream city. I promise that using my experience and development approach, I will try to resolve the issues raised in the meeting with the cooperation of officials as much as possible.

In today’s meeting, Sameer Bhardwaj, Ravindra Kumar, Pawan Yadav, DK Sinha, Sanjeev Saxena, and Pratish Rai from NEFOWA participated. Residents Sandeep Kumar, Ganesh Upadhyay, Raj Pal, Gaurav Gupta, Gaurav Chauhan, Vikas Kumar Singh, Jitendra Singh, Abhishek Singh, Sandeep Sonkar, Vaibhav Saxena, Vikas Sinha, Sanjay Singh, Mukesh Chaudhary, Chandrabhan Singh, Sunil Kumar Saini, Daya Suyal, Dhirendra Singh, Prakash Josh, Sunil Yaad, Vipin Pratap Singh etc. united and decided to continue the struggle under the leadership of Nefowa until the problems get solved.
