Greater Noida West: The Greater Noida West, the Greater Noida Authority used to charge ₹100 per day as a penalty from home buyers in case of delay in registration after the stipulated time limit. The main reason for this problem is the absence of an occupancy certificate or non-payment of dues to the authority by the builder.
For a long time, to remove this additional burden and save home buyers from financial loss without fault, NeFOWA, an organization fighting for the rights of home buyers, was demanding Jewar MLA, the State Government and the Greater Noida Authority to remove it.
When this demand was accepted by the Authority, expressing satisfaction over it, Abhishek Kumar, President of NeFOWA Foundation said, “At present, the decision of not taking a penalty has been implemented only for 6 months, but our effort will be that this unreasonable fee should be completely removed by the Authority as soon as possible.”
As a representative of the home buyers of this area, on behalf of our organization, we thank the Honorable Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh, MLA Jewar, Chief Secretary of Uttar Pradesh, Chairman Greater Noida Authority, CEO and ACEO Greater Noida Authority for their cooperation on this important demand, which will benefit lakhs of home buyers.
