Greater Noida West: NPCL conducted an audit in Mahagun Mywoods Society located in Sector-16C of Greater Noida West. Many deficiencies were found in the audit. NPCL also handed over a notice along with the report.

Taking action on the complaints of the residents regarding the electricity infrastructure, the NPCL team conducted an audit of the Mahagun Mywoods Society. To know the root cause of the electricity problem in the society, Kaushik Mitra of NPCL and his team repeatedly tried to find the root cause of the electricity problem by auditing the electrical infrastructure of the society. Many deficiencies were found in the audit due to which the fuse of the society would blow and the feeder of NPCL would also trip.
There are 6200 flats in the society and residents have already occupied 4300 flats, for which 3 ESS substations are needed to provide electricity supply, but only two ESS substations are installed. The load of the towers connected to the third ESS substation has been given to the second ESS substation. Due to excessive load on the second ESS substation, there was a power breakdown on the night of May 20 and a generator also blew up.
The NPCL team gave the minutes and notice of the meeting to Maintenance Manager Manish Kumar and Electricity Incharge Atul Gautam in the presence of society residents. NPCL has suggested immediate repair of the second ESS substation, immediate construction of the third ESS substation and installation of RMU at all ESS substations. The NPCL team has planned to come on 20th June for review.
