Pet Policy: Greater Noida Authority is going to start pet registration soon, no fee to be charged for pet registration

Greater Noida: The revised pet registration policy has been approved by the authority board. Incorporating the suggestions received from citizens, RWA, AOA NGOs etc. in the previously approved policy, a proposal was placed before the board, which has been accepted.

A fine of Rs 2000 is to be imposed


According to the revised policy, now no fee will be charged for pet registration. The registration process will continue for a year instead of three months, but if someone complains about the pet being registered, it will be investigated and a fine of Rs 2000 will be imposed.

The pet will be taken only by service lift


If a person is already in the lift, then another person will not go with the pet and if a person is already in the lift with his pet, then another person will not go. However, if there is mutual agreement, both can go together by lift.

Mark the feeding point


Apart from this, AOA/RWA and the residents there will together mark the pet feeding point. A shelter home will be built on a PPP basis with the help of an NGO. The authority will provide land for this and its operation will be the responsibility of the concerned NGO.
