GH 7: Memorandum submitted to Deputy Registrar for not conducting the society elections even after one month

Ghaziabad: Residents of GH-7, Crossing Republic reached the office of the Deputy Registrar on Saturday and demanded to conduct the elections of the Society. During this, Sumit Srivastava, Shahnaz Khan, Ram Singh Sunil Singh etc. submitted an eight-point memorandum to the Deputy Registrar.

Know the whole matter

On May 17, 2025, the residents of GH-7 Society went to the office of the District Leprosy Officer, the election officer nominated by the Deputy Registrar, and sought information about the advance step taken on the points and suggestions put before him by the residents of the society in the meeting held on May 10, 2025. Also requested to conduct the AOA elections as soon as possible.

The election officer assured of fast action

After this, all the people met Deputy Registrar Rishabh Agarwal and submitted an eight-point memorandum to him. They have demanded the exact time and date for the election.

Residents requested exact information for the election process

  1. Information from the Election Commission
  2. New membership campaign
  3. Objection deadline for correction or missed members
  4. Possible date of nomination, withdrawal of nomination and date of the election
  5. Adding apartment owners to the official WhatsApp group of AOA
  6. Adding two members of lapsed AOA Pragati Sharda and Sunil Kumar to the board and official WhatsApp group of all AOA
  7. Fixing the time limit of the membership campaign to add new members for the 2025 election of the association
  8. Formation of an election committee to validate and correct the voter list after 13 January 2024
  9. Releasing the information of the estimated expenditure statement possible from the election
  10. Determining the nomination fee for the election not spending the society’s money on any new or other work maintenance expenses
  11. Banning unnecessary expenses

The deputy registrar had ordered elections a month ago but even after one and a half months, elections have not been held in the society. It is the desire of all of us that elections should be conducted as soon as possible and fairly so that the important work which is pending in the society can be started.
