NOIDA : Let us tell you that the District Magistrate of Noida has given strict orders to the builders. District Magistrate (DM) Manish Kumar Verma has taken a tough stand on the delay in registration and ever-increasing complaints of flat buyers. In an important meeting held in the Collectorate auditorium, 95 builders of Noida, Greater Noida and Yamuna Authority area were given clear instructions to complete the registration of all eligible flats by May 31, 2025, otherwise they will have to face strict legal action.
Let us tell you that officials of the three Industrial Development Authorities, senior officials of the Stamp and Registration Department, sub-registrars and representatives of major builder companies like Vihaan Greens, Mahagun, ATS, Arihant Infra, Ratan Buildtech and Devika Gold Homes were present in the meeting. The District Magistrate gave a clear message that the registration of the flats which have received OCCC (Occupancy Certificate cum Completion Certificate) and sub-lease deed till 9 May 2025 should be completed by 31 May at any cost.
If the builders do not complete the registry process within 15 days, strict action will be taken under the Indian Stamp Act and RERA Act. Along with this, the administration will soon take strict action against those builders whose representatives did not attend this meeting. At the same time, the District Magistrate himself heard the complaints of the flat buyers and directed all the sub-registrars to resolve every problem related to the registry as soon as possible. Special camps will also be organized to speed up the registry process, information of which has been given to the builders. This strict decision of the administration is expected to provide relief to thousands of buyers who have been waiting for the registry for years.
Camps will be set up for registration The DM has directed the Assistant Inspector General Essay I and II to inform the builders and set up special camps for registration of buyers so that the registration process can be completed. Notice issued to major builders Notices have been issued to major builders including Yamuna Build Tech System, Vihaan Greens, Ratan Build Tech System, SJP Hotel and Resort, Mahalaxmi Infra Home, SC Reality System, ATS Devika regarding registration.
