Noida: A health and hygiene awareness campaign was organised on May 24, 2026, at Mahadev Apartment in Sector 73 under the I Care Noida initiative. The session was led by Dr Mahipal Singh, Director of First Rehab Foundation, physiotherapist and ergonomist, who educated residents on several important health-related issues.
During the awareness session, Dr. Mahipal Singh spoke in detail about RSI (Repetitive Strain Injury), posture correction, the emotional impact on the human body and protection from heat waves. He explained that a person’s way of speaking and behaviour also directly affects overall health and well-being.

When the body experiences irritation, mild pain or any physical discomfort, several internal bodily changes begin automatically. These changes can affect behaviour, increase irritability and impact not only the individual but also the entire family and society.

Dr Singh further explained that the body works in coordination with both the brain and the mind. If mental health is disturbed, it affects family relationships and communication among family members, often leading to stress and emotional isolation.

Highlighting modern lifestyle challenges, he discussed how daily routines negatively impact both the brain and the body. He emphasized the importance of proper exercise, ergonomic working habits and posture correction to avoid RSI and related health issues. He also shared preventive measures to stay safe during heat wave conditions and stressed that mental wellness makes everyday life and work more manageable.

Occupational Therapist and Managing Director Dr. Diksha Srivastava was also present during the event.
As part of the campaign, residents of the society carried out a cleanliness drive and a plantation activity. Handwash, sanitisers, and soaps prepared by children associated with the First Rehab Foundation were also distributed among residents.
