New Delhi, September 28, 2026: The FASTag Annual Pass has crossed the milestone of one crore passes issued since its launch on August 15, 2025, according to information shared by the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI). The pass offers private vehicle owners a one-time payment option for toll travel on National Highways and National Expressways.
The milestone indicates growing adoption of the annual pass among private vehicle owners seeking a convenient option for frequent highway travel.
FASTag Annual Pass Costs ₹3,075 for One Year
The FASTag Annual Pass is available for ₹3,075 and remains valid for one year or up to 200 toll plaza crossings, whichever comes first.
The pass is applicable at approximately 1,150 fee plazas on National Highways and National Expressways. It is available for non-commercial vehicles with a valid FASTag.
Under the system, users do not need to make repeated FASTag recharges for eligible toll crossings covered by the annual pass. Instead, they can pay the applicable one-time fee to access the facility.
How to Activate the FASTag Annual Pass
Vehicle owners can purchase the FASTag Annual Pass through the Rajmargyatra App. After payment, the pass is activated on the existing FASTag linked to the vehicle.
The facility is intended to simplify toll payments for private vehicle owners who regularly travel on National Highways and National Expressways.
Annual Pass Aims to Make Highway Travel More Convenient
The growing number of passes issued reflects increasing uptake of the facility since its introduction in August 2025.
