
Greater Noida: In recognition of his outstanding contribution towards environmental protection, social awareness and public participation-driven campaigns, Sachin Gupta, founder and director of YSS Foundation, has been honoured with the prestigious Shri F.B. Nigam Memorial Award – 2026 by Navratna Foundations.
The award was presented to him for his continuous efforts under the “Swachh Yamuna Mission” aimed at promoting environmental conservation, cleanliness awareness and positive community participation in society.
Speaking on the occasion, Dr. Ashok Srivastava said that under the leadership of Sachin Gupta, regular cleanliness drives along the banks of the Yamuna river, environmental awareness programmes and youth engagement initiatives have been carried out consistently over the past several years.
The YSS Foundation has played a significant role in transforming environmental conservation from just a campaign into a people’s movement through active public participation.
