Noida: Even after 48 years, Noida could not get pure water, Conrwa has demanded the CEO solve this problem and help residents get clean and drinkable water.
No clean water for 48 years
Even after 48 years of the establishment of Noida, the city has not been able to get pure water. People of Noida are yearning for clean water in the scorching heat. Now Conarwa has written a letter to the CEO of Noida Authority demanding clean water.

P.S Jain, President, Conrwa says, “Despite having resources, the authority cannot provide pure water. Noida Authority has not taken any concrete action even after having sufficient resources. Not taking concrete action even after having enough resources shows the mentality of the authority not paying attention to this. The authority has adequate capital, even then the city is not able to get clean water.”
Lakh litres of water is getting wasted every day
The supply of pure drinking water is the fundamental right of the citizens and is the moral responsibility of the authority. If the authority makes arrangements for pure drinking water, then the wastage of lakhs of litres of water can also be stopped. Due to a lack of supply of pure drinking water, 70 to 90 per cent of water is wasted by using water in lakhs of houses and institutions which is of no use. Ganga water also gets contaminated by mixing rain water in Ganga water or it becomes unfit for drinking. Therefore, it can be drunk only after re-treating it. In this way, Ganga water is also being wasted.
A plan should be made to provide water
P. S Jain, President, Conrwa says, “We have been waiting for fresh water for 48 years. The Authority should make a plan to provide pure water to the city. Conrwa is ready to support the authority in every way.”
