Beware Covid 19 cases are increasing, time to take precautions

Noida: The Health Department has confirmed 45 new coronavirus-infected patients, which is the highest in a day this year. These include more than 10 members of three families and three children under the age of 18 years. In the last 11 days, 108 corona patients have been found in the district, out of which 102 are active patients. These include 54 men and 54 women. Currently, 44 patients are in home isolation, while one patient is admitted in a private hospital.

The condition of all the patients in home isolation is stable and no one is serious. The patient admitted in the hospital has also been kept as a precaution. The health department is keeping an eye on all active patients. We the people to follow the Covid Protocol and be cautious instead of panicking. An isolation ward of 10 beds will be prepared in the district hospital and 5 beds in the CHC. The samples are being tested by RTPCR method in Child PGI, and by this method, positive patients are officially considered infected.

84 new cases in five days

In the last 5 days, 84 new patients have been found in Noida, and the infection rate is 7.5 percent, that is, every 14th suspected patient is being found positive. So far 6 patients have recovered. People who came in contact with the patients have not been tested.

Deaths due to Covid are also a matter of concern

In the last 24 hours, 7 deaths occurred due to Covid across the country. A 22-year-old woman died in Delhi. Four deaths were recorded in Maharashtra, including men aged 55 and 73, a 23-year-old woman, and a 27-year-old man. A 76-year-old man died in Tamil Nadu and a person died in Gujarat. A total of 44 deaths have occurred due to Covid since January 1, 2025.
