Greater Noida: It is the era of electric vehicles in India. This time the maximum number of electric vehicles will be launched in Auto Expo 2025. Meanwhile, Maruti Suzuki has released the teaser of its first fully electric SUV Maruti e Vitara. This new electric car will be introduced at the Auto Expo 2025.

These design features are seen in the teaser

The teaser of Maruti e Vitara shows the main features of its exterior design. It has Y-shaped LED DRLs (Daytime Running Lights). Due to this, it attracts people’s attention. The rear of the car has connected LED taillights and three-piece lighting elements. Which gives a new identity to its style. The front bumper has been designed in a large size. Which also includes fog lights, which further strengthen the road presence. Apart from this, rotary dial controls and different terrain modes have also been shown on a lower centre console in the cabin, which indicates a better driving experience.

Expected features will be visible

Maruti has not yet given full details of the features of Maruti e Vitara, but some key features have been revealed based on the global spec model. These may include a two-tone black and brown cabin theme, a 2-spoke steering wheel, vertical AC vents surrounded by chrome and a dual-screen setup. Will run 550 km on a single charge

The 49 kWh battery will generate 144 PS of power and 189 Nm of torque. While the 61 kWh battery will generate 174 PS of power and 189 Nm of torque. The model with a 61 kWh battery can also be available in the All Wheel Drive (AWD) option, which will generate 184 PS of power and 300 Nm of torque. Although Maruti has not given any information about the range of this car, it is estimated that it can give a range of about 550 km on a single charge.

Maruti e Vitara will compete with these vehicles

The price of Maruti e Vitara can start from around Rs 22 lakh in India. This electric SUV will compete with cars like MG ZS EV, Tata Curvv EV, Mahindra BE 6, Mahindra XEV 9e and Hyundai Creta EV in the Indian market.
