Greater Noida: Grano Authority takes major initiative, now the city will be cleaned at night

NOIDA: Under the directions of Greater Noida Authority CEO N.G. Ravi Kumar, the health department team has launched a special cleaning drive in the markets. It began on Saturday at Jagat Farm Market. With the cooperation of the health department team, Jagat Farm Market Association, and shopkeepers, garbage collection work has started in the main markets of the city during the night. Until now, garbage in the markets was collected only during the day.

Initially, this drive has been conducted at Jagat Farm. If it proves successful, it will be implemented in other markets as well. This is an important step towards making Greater Noida markets clean and beautiful. Manoj Garg, President of the Greater Noida Market Association; Vice President Dr. Sukendra Yadav; Sardar Manjit Singh, President of Jagat Farm Market Association; Mukul Goyal; Harendra Bhati; Dr. Ishan; Dr. Kesari Nagar; and other shopkeepers joined the authority’s team in educating all shopkeepers to place dustbins and to dispose of garbage by vehicle at night.

The ACEO of the Authority, Srilakshmi VS, has appealed to the residents of Greater Noida to dispose of garbage only in dustbins and to assist the Authority in keeping the villages, sectors, markets, and other public places clean. The Authority’s Health Department team participating in this campaign included Assistant Manager Gaurav Baghel, Health Inspector Rakesh Pal, Supervisors Ishwar Nagar, Pankaj Sharma, Naveen Shukla, among others.
