Again a Lift scare: 12 people got stuck in multilevel parking of sector 18 Noida

Noida: In Noida-Greater Noida, incidents of lifts getting stuck seem to be never-ending, there has been no reduction in the incidents. The latest case has come to light from the multilevel parking located in Sector-18 of Noida. More than 12 people got stuck in the lift of the multilevel parking on November 24, 2024, Sunday evening. The lift remained stuck like this for about half an hour. People informed the police about this. After this the policemen of Sector-20 police station reached the spot restarted the lift and took the people out. People breathed a sigh of relief when they came out of the lift after half an hour. It is being told that the lift had stopped due to overweight.

There is a 7-storey multilevel parking in Sector-18

Some people were going to the upper floor by boarding the parking lift. According to the information received, when the lift reached between the second and third floor, it suddenly stopped. More than a dozen people were in the lift. People rang the security alarm installed in the lift, but the security alarm also did not work. There was no helpline number written on the lift. After this, some people present in the lift called their family members while some called the police. The police reached the spot and restarted the lift and took the people out of the lift safely.

Regarding this matter, the police say that the lift had stopped due to overweight. All the people trapped in the lift have been taken out safely. No complaint has been made in the matter.
