Greater Noida West: Hundreds of devotees travelled to Ayodhya on October 2, where the idol of Lord Ram was ceremonially worshipped at Hanuman Garhi amid Vedic chants and traditional rituals.
Following the worship, the idol was placed on a grand chariot and taken through Ayodhya in a religious procession. Thousands of devotees joined the procession, while people along the route welcomed the idol with flower showers.
The idol will now arrive in Greater Noida West, where devotees are preparing for a grand procession on October 9. A large number of Ram devotees are expected to participate in the procession and seek darshan of Lord Ram.
Following the procession, the idol will be ceremonially installed at the temple currently under construction in Greater Noida West.

Darshan at Ramlila Ground from October 10 to 24
After the installation, devotees will have an opportunity to seek darshan of the idol at the Ramlila Ground from October 10 to October 24.
The organisers said the initiative will provide an opportunity for devotees who have not been able to travel to Ayodhya to seek the blessings of Lord Ram in Greater Noida West itself.
The arrival of the idol is being seen by devotees as a significant religious occasion for Greater Noida West, bringing the spiritual and devotional atmosphere associated with Ayodhya closer to the local community.
