Greater Noida West: The 6th Ganpati Mahotsav 2026 at Nirala Greenshire concluded on Sunday in a devotional, emotional atmosphere, bringing to an end seven days of religious and cultural celebrations.
The festival, which began on September 14, saw residents come together for daily morning and evening aarti, bhajans, kirtans, dance and music performances and various cultural activities. The festival also organised several creative and recreational activities for children and families.
Ganpati Visarjan Held With Traditional Rituals
On the concluding day, devotees performed prayers and rituals for Lord Ganesha before taking out the Ganpati visarjan procession at 3 pm. The procession was accompanied by chants of “Ganpati Bappa Morya, Mangal Murti Morya” as residents bid an emotional farewell to Lord Ganesha. The idol was immersed with traditional rituals and devotion at a pond in Sector 12, Greater Noida West.
Mahaprasad And Bhandara Organised
Following the visarjan, a mahaprasad and bhandara were organised for residents. A large number of society residents participated and received prasad.
