NHRF launches a city-wide initiative to address long-pending flat registries in Noida, with plans to compile society-wise data and take up the issue with the Uttar Pradesh Government and Noida Authority.
Noida, August 21, 2026: The Noida HighRise Federation (NHRF) has decided to take up the long-pending issue of flat registries across high-rise societies in Noida through a consolidated and institutional approach.
Instead of limiting the matter to individual complaints, the Federation plans to collect details from affected societies, prepare a society-wise database and present the consolidated information before the Uttar Pradesh Government, Chief Minister’s Office, Noida Authority and other concerned authorities.
Thousands Of Homebuyers Affected
The registration of flats has remained a major concern for homebuyers in several Noida projects. Delays have been attributed to various issues, including outstanding dues between developers and the authority, pending NOCs, legal compliances and other project-related matters.
For homebuyers who have already paid for their properties and, in some cases, have been living in them for years, the absence of a registered sale deed remains a significant concern regarding legal ownership and security of their investment.
NHRF To Collect Society-Wise Data
NHRF President Nikhil Singhal said the Federation will collect details from societies where flat registrations are pending.
Affected societies will be asked to provide information such as:
Project and society name
Developer name
Number of pending registries
Reason for the delay
Relevant documents and supporting information
The Federation will compile the information into a consolidated database before approaching the concerned authorities.
“Registry is not merely a paperwork exercise; it is directly connected with the legal ownership and security of a family’s home,”

He added that homebuyers who have invested their hard-earned money should not have to wait indefinitely for legal registration of their properties.
‘This Will Be A Campaign, Not Just A Representation’
NHRF Secretary Kapil Mehra said the Federation intends to pursue the matter as a sustained campaign rather than simply submitting a representation.
According to Mehra, the Federation will meet the concerned authorities and continue following up on the issue until there is tangible progress.
We are going to launch a campaign and meet every concerned authority that can push this matter forward.

He added that the Federation would work to ensure that the concerns of affected homebuyers reach the appropriate government and administrative levels.
Eldeco Aamantran Registry Process Cited As Example
The Federation has pointed to its experience at Eldeco Aamantran, Noida, as an example of how sustained coordination can help resolve long-pending registry matters.
According to NHRF, Singhal personally took up the issue with the developer and concerned authorities and held multiple meetings regarding the pending registrations.
The Federation said that two special registry camps were subsequently organised at Eldeco Aamantran, facilitating the registration process for residents. It further claimed that the registry process for 100% of the society has now been completed.
Singhal said the experience demonstrates that sustained dialogue, administrative coordination and regular follow-up can help move stalled registry matters towards resolution.
Focus On Solution, Not Blame
NHRF said its objective is not to target any particular stakeholder but to establish a solution-oriented dialogue involving homebuyers, developers, the Noida Authority and the state government.
The Federation plans to compile data from affected projects and submit a joint representation to the Chief Minister’s Office and relevant departments.
It also intends to maintain project-wise follow-up so that individual registry issues can be taken up systematically.
‘Every Homebuyer Deserves A Clear Path To Ownership’
The Federation has said that its broader objective is to ensure that homebuyers receive a clear and practical route towards registration of their properties.
With the new initiative, NHRF hopes to consolidate the concerns of residents across different high-rise projects and bring the issue before the authorities as a city-wide matter rather than a series of isolated disputes.
For thousands of Noida homebuyers awaiting registration, the effectiveness of the initiative will ultimately depend on the response of developers and authorities and whether pending issues can be resolved within a defined timeframe.
