Noida: Residents have raised concerns about alleged encroachment in the green belt area in front of D-Block in Sector 105. According to the Residents Welfare Association, Max Group has reportedly placed containers within the green belt area, restricting access and affecting the upkeep of the public green space.
RWA representatives alleged that all entry routes leading into the green belt have been blocked. They further claimed that large girders and iron sheets have been installed within the area, obstructing movement from one side of the green belt to another. Residents also complained about increasing garbage accumulation and deteriorating cleanliness conditions within the stretch.
The association stated that due to the alleged encroachment, maintenance activities in the green belt have suffered significantly. Several trees and plants are reportedly drying up due to lack of watering and proper care.
Repeated requests have been made to General Manager A.K. Arora seeking intervention, but no effective action has been taken so far.
