Greater Noida West : Hundreds of residents of La Residentia began a peaceful protest on Saturday against the builder over the incomplete project, alleged false promises and lack of basic infrastructure in the society. The protest started on March 14, 2026 from 10:00 am onwards near Gate No. 1, where residents have set up a tent near the builder’s sales office. According to residents, the sit-in demonstration will continue for 10 days during the Navratri period.

Residents say they have been facing several problems for a long time due to unfinished construction and inadequate facilities in the society. Despite repeatedly raising complaints with the builder, they allege that only assurances have been given while no concrete action has been taken on the ground.

We have been raising our concerns for a long time but nothing has changed. The builder keeps giving assurances but the problems remain the same. This protest is our way of demanding basic facilities and accountability.

Another resident said the issues are affecting thousands of people living in the society.

There are thousands of people living here but many basic facilities are still not properly available. Residents should not have to struggle for essential services in a society of this scale.

Residents also pointed out that problems such as water shortages occur frequently in the society. Citing a recent instance, they said the society which has 29 towers with more than 2,200 families and over 7,000 residents faced a water shortage since morning, forcing residents to arrange private water tankers on their own.

Water supply disruptions are not new here. Residents often have to manage by arranging tankers themselves. Such issues highlight the larger infrastructure problems in the society.

As part of the protest, residents have also placed posters on their vehicles to highlight their concerns. They have also planned to submit a memorandum to the Assistant Commissioner of Police (ACP) seeking intervention in the matter.

Residents say the protest will remain peaceful, but they are determined to continue raising their voices until their long-pending issues are addressed.
