Greater Noida West: A late-night disturbance inside Ajnara Homes society in Greater Noida West created panic among residents after a group of youths allegedly created a ruckus while sitting inside a Scorpio SUV with black-tinted windows.

According to residents, the incident took place late at night when a Scorpio vehicle stopped outside one of the towers in the society’s premises. The youths inside the vehicle were allegedly consuming alcohol and shouting abuses while standing near the tower area.

Residents object, argument escalates

Residents who noticed the commotion stepped out and objected to the behaviour of the youths. However, instead of leaving the spot, the accused allegedly behaved rudely and used abusive language with the residents who confronted them.

The situation briefly turned tense as people gathered near the tower area following the argument.

Delhi High Court advocate files complaint

One of the residents, who is a Delhi High Court advocate, later filed a complaint regarding the incident. The complaint alleges that the youths were drinking alcohol, using abusive language and creating a nuisance late at night outside the residential tower.

Residents said such incidents raise serious concerns about security and law and order in the society’s premises.

Residents demand strict action

Following the incident, residents have demanded strict action against those involved and have urged authorities to ensure better security and monitoring in society to prevent such disturbances in the future.

They also raised concerns over vehicles with black-tinted windows entering residential areas, stating that such violations should be checked to maintain safety inside housing societies.
