Noida: On the occasion of International Women’s Day, a special awareness program titled “Aao Karein – Mahilaon Ki Baat” was organised under the joint initiative of YSS Foundation and Medanta Hospital, Sector-50, Noida. The event was held at the hospital premises where experts and participants came together to discuss crucial aspects of women’s health, hygiene, awareness, wellness and preventive care.

Focus on women’s health and preventive care

The primary objective of the program was to raise awareness among women about the importance of prioritising their health. The session emphasised timely medical check-ups, proper diagnosis, preventive care and the adoption of a healthy lifestyle to prevent serious illnesses.

During the program, medical experts from Medanta Hospital shared valuable health insights with the attendees and addressed several queries raised by participants. The discussions aimed at encouraging women to stay informed about their health and seek medical advice without hesitation.

Expert doctors share medical insights

A distinguished panel of doctors from Medanta Hospital participated in the awareness session. The panel included Dr Esha Kaul (Director, Haemato-Oncology), Dr Namita Kaul (Director, Neurology) and Dr Priya Bansal (Senior Consultant, Gynaecology & Gynae-Oncology).

The experts spoke in detail about cancer awareness, neurological disorders, reproductive health issues in women and the growing importance of preventive healthcare. They also guided the participants on recognising early symptoms and seeking timely treatment to avoid complications.

Strong participation from YSS foundation volunteers

The program witnessed active participation from around 70 students and volunteers from the YSS Foundation. Among them were Sumeksha Kaul, Geeta Bhanya, Durga Prasad Dubey, Anita Ahuja and Kirti Dekate, who contributed to the smooth conduct of the event. The session was coordinated under the leadership of Sunil Nehra, Muskan Chauhan and Yuvakshi Dhaundiyal, whose efforts, along with the entire team, played a crucial role in making the program successful.

Commitment towards women’s empowerment and social awareness

Representatives of YSS Foundation stated that the organisation has been consistently working in areas such as women empowerment, health awareness, education and social development. They emphasised that initiatives like these help spread awareness and bring meaningful change in society by empowering women with knowledge and access to healthcare.
