Greater Noida: The Greater Noida Authority has been praised for its prompt response after a safety concern was raised regarding a deep pothole and a damaged drain outside St. Joseph School, Gate No. 2, Sector Alpha-1.

According to the Active Citizen Team, member Harindra Bhati highlighted the issue on Thursday morning, drawing attention to the potential danger posed to schoolchildren, parents, and commuters using the busy stretch.

Within nearly three hours of the complaint being raised, officials from the Greater Noida Authority reached the site and began repair work. The swift response has been welcomed by residents, who said the timely action will help improve safety around the school.

Harendra Bhati appreciated the efforts of the concerned officials and employees of the Greater Noida Authority for responding quickly to the public concern. He said the Active Citizen Team will continue to raise issues related to public welfare fairly and constructively while also acknowledging positive actions taken by government agencies.

Residents expressed hope that the repair work will be completed quickly and to high standards, ensuring a permanent solution and preventing any future accidents.
