Many people in India have travelled on modern trains like the Vande Bharat Express. These high-speed trains are known for their comfort, design and technology. But not many people get to see where these trains are actually built.
A clip now showing the manufacturing process inside a major railway factory has caught people’s attention online. The video offers a behind-the-scenes look at how train coaches are assembled and prepared before they hit the tracks.
Man Begins The Tour Inside The Train Factory
The clip starts with a man introducing the location and inviting viewers to explore the facility. He says, “You may have travelled on trains like Vande Bharat, but today I will show you where they are made. Let’s explore.”
The video then shows a large workshop where one of the train coaches is parked on railway tracks inside a massive shed. A worker can be seen crouching under the coach, carefully working on mechanical parts and fittings beneath the train. The scene highlights the detailed work that goes into assembling each coach.
Inside View Reveals The Structure Of A Train Coach
The video then moves inside another coach that is still under construction. The interior looks like a long metal frame with no seats or finished panels yet. Metal beams, floor panels and structural parts of the coach are visible, showing the early stage of the build process.
A worker can be seen standing at a distance inside the coach as the camera slowly moves forward, giving viewers a clear look at how the inside of a train coach looks before the final fittings are added.
Another Section Shows The Train Before Final Assembly
The next part of the clip shows the rear side of a coach placed on tracks inside the factory. The large doorway at the end of the coach is open, revealing the inside section where workers move in and out during the assembly process.
Nearby, large yellow support structures and equipment can be seen in the workshop, indicating the scale of the facility where multiple coaches are prepared at the same time.

Workers Prepare The Front Section Of The Train
Towards the end of the video, the camera captures the front portion of a modern train parked near a large blue industrial structure outside the shed. Workers stand nearby while one man holds a pipe, possibly cleaning or testing parts of the train.
The caption of the clip reads, “The place where Indian Beasts are made. Got an exclusive opportunity to visit the ICF, Chennai where trains like the Vande Bharat Express are made. Have you ever been to any place where trains, cars, bikes or aeroplanes are made?” The ICF is the Integral Coach Factory, which is in Chennai, Tamil Nadu.
The POV text on the video also says, “This place in India is the largest Rail Coach manufacture in the world.”
Shared on Instagram, the video sparked curiosity among viewers and drew many reactions in the comment section. A user asked, “Bro kya vaha normal people ki entry allowed hai?” Another wrote, “Bro Kya humein allowed hai andar dekh ne ke liye.”
“Yaha ghumne jaa sakte hai?,” a person asked. Another viewer commented, “Great Indian Railways.”
Some people also recognised the location and wrote, “ICF, Chennai,” while others reacted with heart and fire emojis.
