Metro College of Nursing Observes National Road Safety Awareness Month

Greater Noida : Under the visionary leadership of Dr Sonia Lal Gupta and the guidance of Dr Kanak Lata, Director Education, and Dr Praveen K Gaur, Director Campus, Metro College of Nursing, Greater Noida, successfully observed National Road Safety Awareness Month in January 2026.

The month-long initiative focused on promoting responsible road behaviour and public safety. A series of awareness-driven activities were organised, including poster awareness programmes, role-play sessions, poster and quiz competitions and a road safety rally. These activities were conducted at CHC Bhangel and within the college campus.

Students from ANM, GNM and BSc Nursing programmes actively participated in the events and played a key role in spreading awareness about traffic rules, pedestrian safety and accident prevention among the community.

The entire programme was led by Ms Preeti Yadav, Head of Department, Community Health Nursing. Coordination was managed by Prof Karthikeshwari, Vice Principal, while overall guidance and supervision were provided by Dr Prachi Awasthi, Principal of the college.
