
Pilgrims heading to Tirupati have a new reason to rejoice. A new Amrit Bharat Express is now available for passengers from the Telugu states. Launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi, the train runs between Charlapalli (Hyderabad) and Thiruvananthapuram, passing through Renigunta, making Tirupati travel easier and more affordable. Charlapalli–Renigunta–Tirupati Route: The train departs Charlapalli every Tuesday at 7:15 am and reaches Renigunta Junction by 7:30 pm. Stops include Nalgonda, Miryalguda, Sattenapalle, Guntur, Tenali, Bapatla, Ongole and Nellore. The train has Sleeper and General coaches only. Sleeper fare to Tirupati: Rs 430 (Representative image)

Beyond Renigunta, the train halts at major stations including Katpadi, Jolarpettai, Salem, Erode, Coimbatore, Palakkad, Thrissur, Ernakulam Town, Kottayam, Kollam and Varkala Sivagiri, before reaching Thiruvananthapuram. Return Journey Details” On the return leg, the Amrit Bharat Express leaves Thiruvananthapuram every Wednesday at 5:30 pm and reaches Charlapalli by 11:30 pm the next day. The train halts at key stations across Kerala, Tamil Nadu and Andhra Pradesh, including Renigunta, Nellore, Ongole, Guntur, Miryalguda and Nalgonda. (Representative image)

From Renigunta Junction, the Amrit Bharat Express departs every Thursday at 10:50 am and reaches Charlapalli by 11:30 pm. The sleeper fare from Renigunta to Charlapalli is ₹430, while passengers travelling from Thiruvananthapuram to Charlapalli pay ₹780. The train comprises eight sleeper class coaches, eleven general coaches, one pantry car, and two second-class coaches designed for persons with disabilities. (Representative image)
