Greater Noida : Construction works are usually carried out with careful planning and attention to detail especially when they involve public facilities. However, the newly built community centre in Sector Delta-3 tells a very different story. The entrance gate of the centre opens directly into a large electricity panel box, creating a major obstruction for people trying to enter.
Residents say that the construction agency may have completed the building, but they completely ignored this serious flaw. The gate cannot be fully opened, making access difficult and unsafe. Locals are questioning the engineering oversight. They argue that the panel box in front of the gate is not just inconvenient, but a potential hazard especially in an emergency situation where quick entry or exit is needed.
A much-awaited facility, Yet a major hurdle
Sector Delta-3 and several other sectors had long demanded the construction of community centres. Responding to the need, the Authority had started building them in multiple locations a few months ago.
Now, while the Delta-3 centre is nearly complete, the panel box blockage has sparked frustration among residents. Sector resident Prem Awana has lodged a complaint and requested immediate removal or relocation of the electricity panel box to ensure smooth entry. Residents believe that if such basic planning flaws are not corrected now, the purpose of this new community facility will be defeated even before it opens.
