Haldi ram’s food controversy: Food department raids the outlet, samples of Rasmalai sent for testing

Greater Noida West: The team of Gautam Buddha Nagar Food Department reached the Haldiram outlet located in Greater Noida West on July 26, 2024, and took samples of Rasmalai.

Why this action?


A customer had made a serious complaint after ordering Rasmalai through the Zomato application from the Haldiram outlet located in Greater Noida West. The customer said that when he opened the box of Rasmalai, it smelled bad. After this, he ate a bite of Rasmalai, which gave him a strange experience.

Immediate complaint lodged


The customer has complained about this matter and demanded immediate action on it. After this, a team of the Food Department reached the Haldiram outlet took samples of Rasmalai and sent them for testing.

What is the whole matter?


Vivek Srivastava, the victim says, “I had ordered Rasmalai from Haldiram outlet through Zomato application. Along with Rasmalai, I had also ordered Chole Bhature, Vada Pav and Dal Makhani. For this, I paid a bill of Rs 582. When I opened the box of Rasmalai, it smelled bad. I ate one bite of Rasmalai, which made me feel very strange. I have complained in this regard. In this case, action should be taken against the Haldiram outlet located in Gaur City, Greater Noida West, as it can prove to be a threat to people’s lives .”

Vivek further says, “Nowadays good food is not available in roadside restaurants and hotels. Now people trust a big company like Haldiram. But now a company like Haldiram has also started cheating. Very old Rasmalai is being sold, which will have a very bad effect on people’s health. Negligence is being done not only in one Rasmalai but also in other food items.

Action initiated by the food department

Action is now being taken in this matter. On Saturday, the Food Department team raided Haldiram’s outlet located in Greater Noida West, from where samples of Rasmalai were sent for testing.
