Greater Noida West: A senior Supreme Court advocate living in a society in Sector-168 has committed suicide. It is being told that the senior advocate was reportedly troubled for a long time due to mental agony. This case is of the Police Station Expressway area.
Identification of the deceased
A Noida Police officer said that the deceased has been identified as Satyendra Rai, who was the son of Gangadhar Rai. The deceased lived in Lotus Zing Society located in Sector-168. He said that last night he committed suicide by hanging himself from a fan in the society flat. As soon as the information of the incident was received, the police team immediately reached the spot. The body has been taken into custody and sent for post-mortem.
Police engaged in investigation
The officer said that the age of the deceased is 36 years. The family members of the deceased have been informed about this tragic incident. Initial investigation has revealed that he was undergoing severe mental stress for the last few days. Further action will be taken after the post-mortem report arrives.
