What does this girl say ?
‘Hello! I am Pooja speaking’ Your gas connection is going to be cut, you have not deposited the bill. This is the reason why this decision has been taken. If you do not pay the bill within the next 15 minutes, the connection will be cut immediately and you will be blacklisted. Well! You are given a chance. I am sending you a link, click on that link and pay the gas bill immediately. I am also sending an offer with it, by which you will get a 40% discount on the bill. This offer is for one time. If you pay the electricity bill within the next 15 minutes, then only you will benefit.”

After listening to this, you will feel that maybe the gas connection is about to be disconnected, but this is completely fake. These days such gangs have become active in Gautam Buddha Nagar and the entire NCR. Their target is women and elderly people, who stay at home. As soon as you click on that message or link, your bank account will be hacked and your account will be emptied.

Arvind Kumar, Bisrakh police station in-charge has appealed regarding this. He says, “Nowadays fraud is happening in the name of cutting gas connections, giving false news of vehicle accidents, closing bank accounts and driving license verification. Whereas such calls do not come from any company. Therefore people need to be careful. A slight mistake can empty the bank account.”
