Greater Noida West: The results of the Ad-Hoc AOA elections were announced on July 10 in Amrapali Golf Homes and Kingswood Society. After the resignation of the previous Ad-Hoc AOA in these societies, the home buyers organized a General Body Meeting (GBM) on 30 June 2024. In this meeting, all the home buyers together formed an election committee, which conducted the election process democratically.
The election program started on July 7, 2024
The Election Committee, following the election rules, fixed July 7, 2024, as the last date for filing nominations. After that, July 10, 2024, was the last day to withdraw nominations till 5:00 pm. In the end, a total of 12 nominations were received for the Ad-Hoc AOA, out of which 2 nominations were cancelled due to lack of documents. Then 10 nominations remained in the fray for the 10-member team, after which the election committee declared the entire team elected unopposed.
CR Venkat Ramani’s notice
On June 9, 2024, CR Venkat Ramani issued a notice, which said that “The maintenance of the society is an internal matter of the people living in the society and the people living in the society should together select their AOA, which will take over all the assets and maintenance facilities from NBCC and will provide all the further maintenance facilities to the elected AOA.”
Responsibility of the President and other posts
On July 10, 2024, the newly elected Ad-Hoc AOA team was announced. Dilip Kumar was selected as the President, Shyam Kumar Singh as the Vice President, Sunil Kumar as the General Secretary, Neelam Gupta as the Joint Secretary, Nidhi Singh as the Treasurer, Devendra Pratap Singh, Divya Gupta, Bhupendra Kumar, Amit Singh and Jai Malhotra as executive members. Now the elected Ad-Hoc AOA President Dilip Kumar has announced the first GBM on 21st July 2024 to chalk out the future strategy.
