Noida: A meeting was held in the community centre with Sector 30 RWA and the people of the sector along with the police department, courtesy, DDRWA President, NP Singh. ACP Praveen Kumar, Sector 20, SHO, Chowki Prabhari Singh participated in the meeting. The police department explained the three new laws from July 1.
The policemen told the people how the new law has been made more powerful against terrorism, women-related and cyber-related criminals. Along with this, electronic evidence has been included and accepted. In the new law, along with the responsibility of the police, doctors and the court have been made responsible for their respective duties time-bound. This will also curb the process of keeping the cases pending in the court and the victim will be able to get justice quickly and easily. The criminal will also be swiftly punished.
Apart from this, the problems of the people of the sector were also heard in the meeting and assurance was given to solve them. NP Singh told about the problems of the sector as well as not to pick up unknown video calls and to beware of cyber fraud. The police department held meetings with RWA regularly and informed them about beggars at crossroads and child theft. DDRWA vice-president Anil Kumar Singh, Pramod Verma and a large number of people from the sector were present at the meeting.
