Greater Noida: Greater Noida Authority’s Senior Manager of Health Department Chetram Singh, conducted a surprise inspection of the cleanliness system of the 130-meter road at 6 am on June 13, 2024.
The service roads were in a pitiable condition, fine imposed
During the inspection, dirt was seen on the service road. The cleaners and supervisors were also found missing, due to which a fine of Rs 25,000 has been imposed on the concerned firm Antony Waste Handling Cell Pvt. Ltd. Along with this, instructions have been given to deduct one day’s salary of the supervisor.
Cleaners were not working due to resentment with the supervisor
The senior manager reached Sigma One. There, some cleaners were not working due to resentment with the supervisor. After talking to them, the grievance was addressed and the cleaning work restarted.
Ordered to remove the garbage daily
The senior manager expressed his displeasure over the garbage heaps in Sector Alpha One. He gave instructions to remove the garbage regularly and also inspected the areas around Sector Ecotech Three and Four Murti Chowk and reviewed the cleanliness. Chetram Singh says, “Surprise inspections will continue in future.”
